Doritos Super Bowl Challenge: Can these “amateurs” beat the ad pros?

In their latest crowdsourcing competition, Doritos is giving the the winning contestants the chance to win $5 million dollars for the commercials they produced. What do they have to do to win the cash money? They have to beat the best in the game: the ad pros, by taking the top spot in USA Today’s annual ad meter for best Super Bowl spot.

The challenge is down to the final 6 contestants right now, and Doritos will air commercials from the 3 who garner the most votes. I watched all of the spots here. They’re what you would expect from a typical Doritos commercial – high on slapstick comedy and tomfoolery. My favorites so far are “Casket” and “Snack Attack Samurai.”
What’s your favorite? Do you think any of these ads have a chance at taking the top spot in USA Today’s ad meter?
