Nike + World Cup + Amsterdam

Now this is great. Nike Netherlands teamed up with Wieden + Kennedy Amsterdam to send out a massive squad of football fanatics to create a massive World Cup tournament bracket out of white and orange tape on Amsterdam’s Dam Square.

The word Bezet, which is shown in the winning slot, means taken, conveys The Netherlands aspirations to be the World Cup victors in South Africa next year.

EA Games FIFA 2010 gets you as close to playing on a real football(soccer for those reading this in the States) field without actually being there.

Created by Wieden + Kennedy Amsterdam, this commercial does a brilliant job at capturing the intensity and realism of the FIFA 2010’s game play. The script is awesome, and the shift between the video game and real in-game play is well done.
