TalkTalk Mobile – Literally Putting Money Back Into Your Pockets

In an attempt to show consumers they save you money, the British mobile phone company, TalkTalk is sending out pick-pocketers around tourist areas in London to slip money into your pockets. The first thing that popped up into my mind when I first read this article is that I really hope this happens to me when I arrive in London soon. That would be amazing.

The head of the pick-pocket, err “put-pocket team, Chris Fitch says that, “Every time I put money back in someone’s pocket I feel less guilty about that fact that I spent many years taking it out.” Put-pocketing isn’t easy either, as Chris compares the art of it to regular pick-pocketing as “just as much of a challenge, and (requiring) all the same stealth and skills.”

What a great marketing stunt. I love it.
